Bell Tower of St. Euphemia

I caught the soaring, needle-like Bell Tower of St. Euphemia in Rovinj, Croatia against the rising sun three weeks ago. The sun's rays splay over this gorgeous Istrian fishing town and silhouette this Adriatic port. I fell in love with historic Croatia on this trip, not in the least because it is the perfect place to work on my photography. After all, it is impossible to take a bad picture here! I'm coming back to spend much more time in this sun-drenched, olive tree thrivingland. No wonder the new James Bond film, Game of Thrones and many other films and shows are shot in the pristine light here. More on that later. Thank you Croatia for enlightening me on your wonders! I only wish I'd discovered you many years ago. Many more Croatian/Italian highlights coming, please stay tuned....It really is a magnificent world.
